Got a damaged, faulty, or wrong-item delivery? Tell us on WhatsApp within 7 days of receiving your order and we'll arrange a pickup or replacement. Manufacturer warranty kicks in after that window.
How returns work

✓ You can return if…
- The item arrived damaged or physically broken
- The item is defective or not working as advertised
- We delivered the wrong item or wrong colour / size
- Parts or accessories are missing from the box
- The product is materially different from the description
× We can't accept a return if…
- You've changed your mind after delivery (no defect)
- The item was inspected and accepted at store pickup
- The product has been used, washed, or installed
- Original packaging / tags / accessories are missing
- The 7-day window has expired — use manufacturer warranty instead
🚚 Shipping & delivery
Island-wide delivery to all 25 districts. Some remote areas (e.g. Wilpattu border, Knuckles range villages) need an extra business day — we WhatsApp you the day before dispatch.
2-5 working days from order confirmation. Colombo + Western Province orders placed before 1 PM typically arrive next business day.
Flat Rs.250-450 depending on area (auto-calculated at checkout). FREE on orders with our Cash-on-Delivery 25% bundle.
Eligible items in the Western Province get free technician install — we call within 48 hrs to schedule.
🛡️ Manufacturer warranty
Every brand we carry includes the manufacturer warranty (typically 6-24 months depending on the product). Warranty card + receipt are packed with your order — keep them safe.
WhatsApp us with the order number + a short description (photo/video if possible). We'll route the unit to the brand's service centre and update you with the ETA.
If the item is defective on arrival or within the first 7 days, we replace it from our stock — no need to wait for the brand's service centre.
Physical damage from misuse, water damage on non-waterproof items, third-party modifications, or wear-and-tear consumables (filters, blades, etc.). These are case-by-case via WhatsApp.

7 Day Return Policy
- If your product is defective / damaged or incorrect / incomplete at the time of delivery, please contact us within the applicable return policy period. Your product may be eligible for refund or replacement depending on the product and condition.
- Please note that some products are not eligible for a return if the product is “No longer needed“.
- If the return period of your product has expired, we refer you to the brand warranty center (if applicable).
Conditions for Returns
- The product must be unused, unworn, unwashed and without any flaws. Fashion products can be tried on to see if they fit and will still be considered unworn.
- The product must include the original tags, user manual, warranty cards, freebies and accessories.
- The product must be returned in the original and undamaged manufacturer packaging / box.
- If a product is returned to us in an inadequate condition, we reserve the right to send it back to you.
Return Reasons
- Delivery of a product that is damaged (physically destroyed or broken) / defective (faulty or malfunctioning) condition
- Delivery of a product that is incorrect (presentation different on website) / incomplete (missing parts)
Returns or Refund Not Accepted IF
- Item is picked up from store after checking thoroughly (except if there is defect or damage as mentioned above)
- Change of mind after purchase
Returns Process
- The product has to be inspected by bestbargains.lk before proceeding with the refund process.
- If the product is returned by customer at no fault from the product, there will be a return charge of Rs.150 for the process involved. (Pickup charges will apply if the product has to be picked up from the customer. Pickup charge may vary from the delivery charge paid on the sales invoice due to the nature of the pickup)
- If the product is faulty, bestbargains.lk takes full responsibility for return, replacement and refund at no cost to customer.
- If the refund is approved (full or partial), the customer will receive refund to their bank account (you will receive a call requesting bank details). This is to maintain official record of refund issued.
- Payments made by credit or debit card will be refunded back to the same card. This is a 7 to 10 day process depending on the bank. If this time period cannot be accepted, please avoid using this payment method at checkout as it’s standard procedure.
